The new school combines economic construction technology with innovative instructional spaces to facilitate group and individual study. Amenities like the maker space and breakout areas move Yancey County facilities from the 1936 model well into the 21st century.

Week 1 - Notice to Proceed was given for completion of construction June 2019
Week 2 - Erosion Control Structures are in place in preparation for earth moving
Week 4 - Grading efforts resume after heavy rains.
